Grimaldi Builders showcase

Grimaldi Builders came to the table as a contracting start-up with something most new businesses don't have from day one—a story worth telling. The brief was simple: build an identity as solid as the work they do, and make it personal.

The icon was the heart of the project. Two hammers, symmetrical and sturdy, speak directly to the trade—precision, strength, and reliability. Between them, a single stalk of wheat. Not a random flourish, but a deliberate act of storytelling. The Grimaldi family has farmed wheat in Italy for generations, and that heritage deserved a place in the brand. The result is a mark that carries real weight, literally and figuratively.

Getting the balance right between the hammers and the wheat was the central design challenge. Too much weight on the tools and the mark becomes generic. Too much emphasis on the wheat and it loses its grounding in the industry. The final composition lets each element breathe—the hammers frame, the wheat rises, and together they create something that feels complete.

The typeface and color palette were chosen to echo the same tension present in the icon—sturdy and dependable, but not without warmth. Nothing here is accidental. Every choice reinforces the idea that Grimaldi Builders is a company built on craft, care, and a deep sense of pride in the work.

Grimaldi Builders is a new company, but it carries the weight of something much older—a family that has spent generations growing things from the ground up, first in the fields of Italy, now in the foundations and frameworks of a new business. This identity doesn't just mark a brand. It honors that lineage, and sets a strong foundation for everything Grimaldi Builders is yet to build.
