A conceptual protest poster taking a stand on one of breakfast's most contentious debates: milk before cereal. Designed and letterpress printed at the Hoffmitz Milken Center for Typography at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA, this piece was created as part of Dafi Khüne's Typographic Printing Program winter session. The design leans into the chaos of the argument itself — bold, blocky letterforms spelling out CRUNCH are fragmented and interspersed with the poster's rallying cry, "Pour your cereal before your milk," with type scattered across the white composition as if floating in a bowl of milk. The drifting, unanchored arrangement of letterforms brings the concept to life in a way that is both visually dynamic and immediately legible as a cereal reference. The multicolor palette and tactile quality of letterpress printing give the piece an irreverent energy that mirrors its tongue-in-cheek subject matter. A reminder that typography doesn't always have to take itself seriously — but it should always make a point. Below is my documented progress of my design and production process.
